In this day and age we are subjected to so much digital information. Our inboxes are full of spam, our eyes are constantly filled with quick dopamine spurts, and our hands are used just to swipe to the next digital offering. Everything is at our fingertips, we don’t need to move, to touch, to create. Communication used to be slow, intentional, unhurried. We walked to the end of the driveway to peek in the mailbox, we opened up a letter from someone who took the time to write down the details of their life, and we held space for this by giving our time and energy to reading what they wrote. The letters came in different colors, sizes, handwriting, and they sometimes had photos, stickers, bookmarks or even dried flowers. We shared ourselves in a way that was tangible. My aim is to bring back the beauty in the tangible. Every month an envelope will be sent to your physical mailbox, an offering that includes a limited edition art print and a letter from me. Sometimes there will be little extras, a photo, a bookmark, a sticker or two. They are all monthly musings from me, someone that wants everything to slow down a bit, to remember the pace of life that has been lost to the digital age, someone that wants to float with the cycles of life and the seasons and share that with people who also want the same. Nothing more than a letter from a friend, sharing their life, their art, and their time and love. A remembrance of days past and a reminder of the choice we have to slow down and feel. I look forward to sharing these moments with you.
