How it works
- •Each monthly dispatch from The Lost Letter Society departs the archives on the 3rd day of the month. If this date falls upon a weekend or a holiday, the dispatch will be entrusted to the Postmaster on the following business day.
- •Within each dispatch you will find a small collection (4-6 items) of rescued paper artifacts - fragments of letters, photos, pages from forgotten books, vintage stamps and other ephemera gathered from the archives. Each monthly collection is catalogued by The Archivist and is sealed and sent to members of the Society.
- •Once dispatched, letters are entrusted to The United States Postal Service. Most correspondents receive their dispatch within 3-5 business days, though delivery times may vary slightly depending on location and postal conditions.
