Each month will bring you an opportunity to enter into a conversation that has been alive for thousands of years.

How it works

  • •1. You request to receive a hand written letter from The Professor.
  • •2. Each letter is thoughtfully prepared, written, and sealed.
  • •3. Your letter will arrive quietly by mail, homing pigeon, or time traveling knight.
  • •4. You are officially apart of the society, welcome friend.
  • •5. A quick housekeeping note: subscriptions close on the 28th of the month prior to receive the following month's letter. So the 28th of July is the cutoff to be included in August's mailing.
  • •6. A note on the nature of snail mail: it is called "snail" for good reason. International letters can take up to 4 weeks to arrive, sometimes longer, depending on your country's customs and the ordinary unpredictability of the postal world.
