Something worth opening. Once a month, I write you a letter about something I've been thinking about, the sort of thing I'd write to a friend. Write Soon is a little piece of correspondence about the ordinary, enormous things that come with being a person. Beginning again. Being tender. Holding on, letting go, and everything in between. Each envelope brings a new theme, a long letter to read slowly, and a few thoughtful paper things to keep. It's not a newsletter. It's a real letter, on paper, with your name on the envelope. Something that won't refresh or ping. Something that can sit on your kitchen table until you're ready for it, then find its way into a book, a drawer, or a pocket. For people who underline sentences, save little notes, and still believe the mailbox can hold something good. The letter is the point. Everything else is for keeping. Every month, your envelope includes: A letter: a long, reflective letter about the month's theme, written like a friend writing to a friend. A postcard: to keep, display, or send to someone who crosses your mind. A small activity: a thoughtful prompt or quiet exercise to take the month's idea into your everyday life. Stickers: a few small things for your journal, letters or wherever you like. A collectible Postmark sticker: a different one every month, to add to your Postmark Book. Sometimes, a bookmark: a little extra tucked into selected envelopes. Your first envelope also includes your Postmark Book. A little book with twelve chapters, one for each month's letter. A place to collect your Postmark stickers, save a sentence you loved, and record the weather inside your head. Twelve letters. Twelve little reminders of who you were along the way. All folded into one envelope, with your name on it.
