The Color of the Month Print Club is a year of color, one little piece of happy mail at a time. Each month, I choose a color that catches my attention and create an original painting inspired by it. Sometimes it’s connected to a season or a memory, sometimes it’s simply a color I can’t stop thinking about. Along the way, I explore the feelings, stories, and little moments that make that color meaningful to me. Just Susanalities

Just Susanalities is a monthly subscription mail club celebrating adventurous creative living. I'm an adventurer, artist, author, and walker. Nature, travel, and walking inform my writing and my art. I enjoy a wide range of creative endeavors but have been primarily creating as a book artist for the last decade (maybe longer!). So don't be surprised if you receive little original books or journals or other fun stuff created with paper in the mailings. Each mailing will have some regular items: a letter, a greeting card and a postcard for you to share, a bookmark. There will be plenty of extras which will vary month to month: you might receive stickers, a fridge magnet, a little journal, a kit so you can make something cool. Words are important to me. I collect them so I plan on sharing an alphabet card each month starting with "A is for..." I can tell you now that it won't be "apple!" My hope is that the chosen word will uplift or inspire. I am committed to sending you something I've actually made: not a replica or print but the real deal. It's important to me to do so which means membership will be kept small. There will be a waitlist and I will keep everyone informed if I increase membership. For now it is set at 25, so don't tarry. I've made it easy for you if you are hesitant: you can sign up for just one month at a time. There's a discount if you choose the 3-months option because I'm grateful for the trust and support.
